On December 5, Math4NL warmly invites you to its annual Community Event, this year built around the theme:
   “From University to Practice: Mathematicians Making Impact”.
We welcome former Dutch students in mathematics who now hold leading positions in industry, government, consultancy, and other sectors. Besides sharing their personal journeys, they will also provide an inside view of their current work: the problems they are tackling today, the challenges they face, and the ways in which mathematics helps them to find solutions. This combination of personal stories and concrete examples will highlight both the diversity of career opportunities
and the continuing relevance of mathematics in shaping innovation and decision-making.

The Community Event offers a unique opportunity to connect with role models, discover inspiring career paths, and experience first-hand how mathematics contributes to solving real-world problems. There will be ample time for networking and to explore possibilities for new collaborations. The program will be sent by end of October.
Earlier that day, a workshop on networking will be organised for young researchers, offering practical skills that can be applied directly during the Community Event. Registration for the networking event in the morning and/or the Community Event in the afternoon can be done via the form on page 3.
